Relocation is exciting, but it runs on paperwork. Whether your family is applying for residency, citizenship, a work permit or school places abroad, the same core documents appear again and again, and many of them take weeks or months to obtain. Starting early is the single best thing you can do.
This course walks you through that paperwork one stage at a time: identity and civil status, background checks, education and work, finances and source of wealth, health, driving, pets and housing, and finally the apostilles, translations and validity windows that make a document usable abroad. Every lesson ends with a printable checklist, and the course closes with a full per-person document tracker.
Requirements differ by country, by route and by authority, and they change. This course shows you what families typically gather and the questions to ask before you order anything, so that you can confirm the exact requirement with the authority that will receive each document.

- Know which documents to request first because they take longest or must be recent.
- Explain the difference between an apostille, consular legalisation and a certified translation, and what to check before ordering each.

Almost certainly not. The checklists are deliberately broad so that nothing important is left until the last minute. Tick what applies, and confirm the exact list with the authority or your adviser.
Because many documents take weeks or months to obtain, especially police certificates from countries where you no longer live, long-form birth certificates and older financial records. Locating what you hold now takes little effort and saves a great deal of time later. The exception is time-sensitive documents, which this course shows you how to schedule.
